Our story

We're a band of misfits who somehow managed to avoid prison and find our way to a stage. We're veterans of the rock music scene, having survived countless gigs, broken equipment, and questionable bandmates. Now, we're just trying to make enough money to buy new strings and avoid eviction and copywrite infringement lawsuits.

Weston's musical journey began at age 9 in a series of vocally-charged death matches ( losing wasn't an option). He quickly mastered various instruments, writing hard-hitting folktronica hits like "Where's My Kitten?" and "The Cats in the Bag, the Bag's in the River" (a timeless masterpiece that continues to haunt the Rouge River)After conquering regional singing competitions and landing a song on NBC.com, Weston was invited to perform on ABC's "Karaoke Battle." Upon arriving, he realized it wasn't a literal battle and insulted the host (a "Backstreet Boy," apparently), prompting his swift departure to Detroit from Alaska. There, he joined the band Spiralbound and became their frontman. Now, he enjoys dredging the Rouge River (presumably for more inspiration)

" Did I ever tell you about the time I won a golden violin after besting the devil in a fiddling contest? I sold it and used the cash to buy a DeLorean from a disgraced nuclear physicist. One morning, late for work and speeding, I accidentally hit 88mph and ended up in the year 1981. Coincidentally, that's my birth year and also when Rush released Moving Pictures. Crazy.I play drums, Neil Peart is my hero, and I'm the resident old dude.

I like playing covers with these whippersnappers. - Matt Collin

Marc Lafferty started playing bass at 13, almost on a whim to jam with his friend at the time who had just begun learning guitar. Spent a few weeks with a lesson book in his bedroom, at which time his father decided to get him professional lessons to save his own ears from that horrendous noise By his senior year in high school, he found himself in high demand, at one point playing with 5 different bands at once…probably because he always had good snacks -

Always eager to test run new gear, and firmly believes that a musician can NEVER own too many guitars - Brews beer and mead when he’s not slapping the bass As a young man he dreamed of touring the world as a musician, seeing all world had to offer…well he works construction now. Does Zugg Island count as “the island life”

Jacob's bio is a mystery, shrouded in secrecy. Did he have a brush with reality TV fame too? Did he win a kazoo solo competition in elementary school? The world may never know, but one thing's for sure: this guy can make his guitar sing (even if he can't write about it) here are some quotes from him that he definitely said "Autobots, remember those? How about Decepticons, remember those? What about Masters of the Universe? Hey, talk about egomaniacs, Masters of the Universe! We're Masters of the Universe! Remember those? Hey, at least they ain't Smurfs! Huh? Or worse, Snorks! Remember? Snorks! Sounds like someone falling asleep! SNOOOORKS! SNOOOORKS!"
